HEADSOUND audio is an official distribution partner for the following brands: MEElectronics, Brainwavz, FiiO, Fischer Audio, Fostex, Comply, InEar GmbH & Co. KG and audio-technica. We specialise in bringing unknown brands from the USA and Asia to Germany. We choose our partners carefully and only stock products in which we personally believe. “Bang for your buck” – above all this is our most important criterion. Across the entire product spectrum you get excellent value for money, because the manufacturers in our range don’t have to fund huge global marketing departments, the costs of which are passed on to product prices.

For many years most US and European headphone producers manufacture the majority of their ranges in Asia. Aside from production, often the research and development was also delegated to the OEMs there. These companies have therefore amassed enormous know-how and produce outstanding products, which are also increasingly supplied under their own brand name, albeit usually only to the Asian market.

HEADSOUND audio has set itself the goal of handpicking these gems from this market and bringing them to Germany.

MEELECtronics, or Meelec for short, is a US supplier of headphones and accessories, which is known in its home market for its ‘value for money’ products, in the truest sense of the term. Largely unknown in Germany, Meelec headphones are supplied in the US to newegg, Sears and amazon.com among others. MEELECtronics is not itself a manufacturer, but like HEADSOUND audio, specialises in making the best Asian products available to a wider market. HEADSOUND audio is the only official partner of MEELECtronics in Germany. We are constantly expanding our range of Meelec products and are their contact point for questions about Meelec.

Brainwavz is the headphone brand of MP4Nation, a supplier of consumer electronics from Hong Kong. Similarly, MP4Nation doesn’t manufacture itself, but keeps a constant eye on the Chinese market - on the lookout for interesting, high-value consumer electronics products. These are then made available under their own brand name Nationite (for Players, Tablets, etc.) and Brainwavz (for headphones) to the Western market. HEADSOUND audio is a partner of MP4Nation for the Brainwavz headphone range.

FIIO established itself as a supplier of audio accessories which are extremely good value for money. Through the professional, industrial manufacture of headphone amplifiers and Line-Out adapters for iPod, iPhone and co., the Chinese manufacturer has tapped into the market for savvy music-lovers with lighter wallets. Whereas before only (mostly) hand-made high-end products at exorbitant prices were available, now a broad range of good quality products are available at reasonable prices. The legendary FIIO E3 headphone amplifiers and the L1 LOD (Line-Out-Dock) are perfect examples of this.

Fischer Audio is a new Russian headphones manufacturer which has already achieved a superb reputation in just a few years. The broad range of high-end headband headphones - from the Master series to the inexpensive consumer earbuds - caters to every taste and requirement. HEADSOUND is an official German distributor for Fischer Audio. We are gradually expanding our range in order to provide selected (and requested) headband headphones such as the open-back Hifi model FA-011 with genuine wood casing, as well as in-ear classics like the king of bass: Eterna v1.

audio-technica occupies a special place in the HEADSOUND range, although the manufacturer is hardly exotic and could not be described as an insider tip. In fact the manufacturer is the biggest selling headphones brand in the world – albeit mainly in Japan, China and much of Asia. While the brand has also a large and faithful fan base in the US, it is still relatively unknown in Germany and Western Europe. HEADSOUND will broaden the range of audio-technica models gradually, for example with the popular studio model ATH-M50.
